Special events need special decorations! Although balloons themselves can make the party glamourous, you can make them even more extra captivating by adding a little touch of decor to them.
Here are a few tricks to customize your balloon decorations.
Add pom-poms: Use hot glue to attach the pom-poms to the balloons. For helium balloons, use smaller pom-poms so that they won't be too heavy on the balloons.
Fill with confetti: Pour confetti inside the balloon before inflating. Then, rub it against a carpet or rug to generate static electricity, allowing the confetti to stick to the sides instead of sinking to the bottom.
Add stickers: Apply cute stickers to the balloons to make them more pleasing to the eyes.
Tie on tassels: Tie a few tassels in a trendy color palette to the balloon, and you will get a unique and creative sticker balloon.
Make your marks: Use permanent markers to draw patterns, designs, or even emojis on the balloon to make them more aesthetic.
Decorating balloons with vinyl is another way to add a little touch to the balloons. Vinyl stickers are lightweight, sticks well to balloons, and can be put anywhere without popping the balloon.
It's very simple:
- Cut a vinyl strip about an inch wide and cut it out in a triangle shape with scissors. You can cut black and gold triangles sheets of vinyl and stick them on the balloons to enhance their looks.
- Peel off the adhesive backing from the triangles using a tool or your fingers.
Stick them on your white balloons, and there you have it-your own DIY vinyl balloons.
